- Unifi, based in Greensboro but with its largest operations in Yadkinville, reported a fourfold increase in its net income to $10.2 million for its first quarter of 2011, which ended Sept. 27. Sales were up 22 percent to $174 million. For perspective, Unifi made $10.7 million for all of fiscal 2010 — its first profitable year since 2000. View Article.
